And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, [even] of the herd, and of the flock.
Spreek tot die kinders van Israel, en sê tot hulle, As enige mens van julle ’n offer aan die HERE bring, moet julle julle offer van die vee bring, selfs van die beeste, en van die kleinvee.

If his offering [be] a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
As sy offer ‚'n brandoffer van die beeste is, moet hy ‚'n mannetjie sonder gebrek offer: by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente moet hy dit offer, van sy eie vrye wil, voor die HERE.

And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
En hy moet sy hand op die kop van die brandoffer lê; en dit sal vir hom aangeneem word om versoening vir hom te maak.

And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that [is by] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
En hy moet die jong bul voor die HERE slag: en die priesters, Aäron se seuns, moet die bloed bring, en die bloed rondom op die altaar sprinkel wat by die deur van die tabernakel van die gemeente is.

And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.
En hy moet die brandoffer afslag, en dit in sy stukke sny.
7
And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:
En die seuns van Aäron die priester moet vuur op die altaar sit, en die hout in orde op die vuur lê:
8
And the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that [is] on the fire which [is] upon the altar:
En die priesters, Aäron se seuns, moet die stukke, die kop, en die vet in orde lê op die hout wat op die vuur is wat op die altaar is:

But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, [to be] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Maar sy binnegoed en sy bene moet hy was met water: en die priester moet dit alles op die altaar aan die brand steek, tot ‚'n brandoffer, ‚'n vuuroffer van soete geur aan die HERE.

And if his offering [be] of the flocks, [namely], of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.
En as sy offer van die kleinvee is, naamlik van die skape, of van die bokke, tot ‚'n brandoffer; moet hy dit bring ‚'n mannetjie sonder gebrek.

And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.
En hy moet dit slag aan die noordekant van die altaar voor die HERE: en die priesters, Aäron se seuns, moet sy bloed rondom op die altaar sprinkel.

And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that [is] on the fire which [is] upon the altar:
En hy moet dit in sy stukke sny, met sy kop en sy vet: en die priester moet hulle in orde lê op die hout wat op die vuur is wat op die altaar is:

But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring [it] all, and burn [it] upon the altar: it [is] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
Maar hy moet die binnegoed en die bene was met water: en die priester moet dit alles bring, en dit op die altaar aan die brand steek: dit is ‚'n brandoffer, ‚'n vuuroffer van soete geur aan die HERE.

And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD [be] of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
En as die brandoffer vir sy offer aan die HERE van voëls is, dan moet hy sy offer van tortelduiwe, of van jong duiwe bring.
15
And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn [it] on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:
En die priester moet dit na die altaar bring, en sy kop afdraai, en dit op die altaar aan die brand steek; en die bloed daarvan moet aan die sy van die altaar uitgedruk word:

And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:
En hy moet sy krop met sy vere verwyder, en dit langs die altaar aan die oostekant gooi, by die plek van die as:
17
And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, [but] shall not divide [it] asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that [is] upon the fire: it [is] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
En hy moet dit by sy vlerke skeur, maar dit nie heeltemal deurskeur nie: en die priester moet dit op die altaar aan die brand steek, op die hout wat op die vuur is: dit is ‚'n brandoffer, ‚'n vuuroffer van soete geur aan die HERE.
