Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever [he be] of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth [any] of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
Jy moet verder tot die kinders van Israel sê, Enigeen uit die kinders van Israel, of uit die vreemdelinge wat in Israel vertoef, wat enige van sy saad aan Moleg gee; hy moet sekerlik gedood word: die volk van die land moet hom met klippe stenig.

And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
En ek sal my aangesig teen daardie man set, en hom van sy volk afsny; omdat hy van sy saad aan Moleg gegee het, om my heiligdom te verontreinig, en my heilige Naam te ontheilig.

And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
En as die volk van die land enigsins hulle oë toemaak van daardie man, wanneer hy van sy saad aan Moleg gee, en hom nie doodmaak nie:
5
Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
Dan sal ek my aangesig teen daardie man set, en teen sy familie, en sal hom afsny, en almal wat agter hom aan hoereer, om agter Moleg aan te hoereer, uit hulle volk.

And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
En die siel wat hom tot dié wend wat met geeste omgaan, en tot die waarsêers, om agter hulle aan te hoereer, ek sal my aangesig teen daardie siel set, en hom uit sy volk afsny.

Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I [am] the LORD your God.
Heilig julle self daarom, en wees heilig: want ek is die HERE julle God.
8
And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I [am] the LORD which sanctify you.
En julle moet my insettinge onderhou, en dit doen: ek is die HERE wat julle heilig.
9
For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood [shall be] upon him.
Want elkeen wat sy vader of sy moeder vloek, moet sekerlik gedood word: hy het sy vader of sy moeder gevloek; sy bloed moet op hom wees.
10
And the man that committeth adultery with [another] man’s wife, [even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
En die man wat met ‚'n ander man se vrou egbreuk pleeg, selfs hy wat met sy naaste se vrou egbreuk pleeg, die egbreker en die egbreekster moet sekerlik gedood word.

And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
En die man wat by sy vader se vrou lê, het sy vader se naaktheid ontbloot: altwee moet sekerlik gedood word; hulle bloed moet op hulle wees.

And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood [shall be] upon them.
En as ’n man by sy skoondogter lê, altwee moet sekerlik gedood word: hulle het verwarring gemaak; hulle bloed moet op hulle wees.
13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
As ’n man ook by die mannelike lê, soos hy by die vroulike lê, het altwee ’n gruwel gedoen: hulle moet sekerlik gedood word; hulle bloed moet op hulle wees.

And if a man take a wife and her mother, it [is] wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
En as ‚'n man ‚'n vrou en haar moeder neem, is dit boosheid: hulle moet met vuur verbrand word, beide hy en hulle; dat daar geen boosheid onder julle mag wees nie.

And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
En as ’n man by ’n dier lê, moet hy sekerlik gedood word: en julle moet die dier doodmaak.
16
And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
En as ’n vrou nader kom tot enige dier, en met haar lê, moet jy die vrou en die dier doodmaak: hulle moet sekerlik gedood word; hulle bloed moet op hulle wees.
17
And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it [is] a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
En as ’n man sy suster neem, sy vader se dogter, of sy moeder se dogter, en haar naaktheid sien, en sy sy naaktheid sien; dit is ’n skandelike ding; en hulle moet in die oë van hulle volk afgesny word: hy het sy suster se naaktheid ontbloot; hy moet sy ongeregtigheid dra.

And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
En as ’n man by ’n vrou lê wat ongesteld is, en haar naaktheid ontbloot; hy het haar fontein ontbloot, en sy het die fontein van haar bloed ontbloot: en altwee moet van hulle volk afgesny word.
19
And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
En jy mag die naaktheid van jou moeder se suster, of van jou vader se suster nie ontbloot nie: want hy ontbloot sy naby bloedverwant: hulle moet hulle ongeregtigheid dra.
20
And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
En as ’n man by sy oom se vrou lê, het hy sy oom se naaktheid ontbloot: hulle moet hulle sonde dra; hulle moet kinderloos sterwe.
21
And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it [is] an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
En as ‚'n man sy broer se vrou neem, is dit ‚'n onrein ding: hy het sy broer se naaktheid ontbloot; hulle moet kinderloos wees.
22
Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
Julle moet dus al my insettinge, en al my oordele onderhou, en dit doen: dat die land waarheen ek julle bring om daarin te woon, julle nie uitspuug nie.
23
And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
En julle mag nie wandel in die gebruike van die nasie, wat ek voor julle uit uitwerp nie: want hulle het al hierdie dinge gedoen, en daarom het ek ‚'n afsku van hulle gehad.

But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I [am] the LORD your God, which have separated you from [other] people.
Maar ek het tot julle gesê, Julle moet hulle land erf, en ek sal dit aan julle gee om dit te besit, ’n land wat oorvloei van melk en heuning: ek is die HERE julle God, wat julle van ander mense afgesonder het.
25
Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
Julle moet dus ’n onderskeid maak tussen rein diere en onrein, en tussen onrein voëls en rein: en julle mag julle siele nie verfoeilik maak met diere, of met voëls, of met enige lewende ding wat op die grond kruip, wat ek van julle afgesonder het as onrein nie.
26
And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD [am] holy, and have severed you from [other] people, that ye should be mine.
En julle moet heilig wees vir My: want ek die HERE is heilig, en het julle van ander mense afgesonder, dat julle Myne mag wees.
27
A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood [shall be] upon them.
’n Man ook of vrou wat ’n gees het, of wat ’n waarsêer is, moet sekerlik gedood word: hulle moet hulle met klippe stenig: hulle bloed moet op hulle wees.
