Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
Beveel die kinders van Israel, dat hulle vir jou suiwer olyfolie, gestamp vir die lig, bring, om die lampe altyd te laat brand.

Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: [it shall be] a statute for ever in your generations.
Buite die voorhangsel van die getuienis, in die tabernakel van die gemeente, moet Aäron dit van die aand tot die môre voor die HERE versorg altyd: dit moet ’n ewige insetting wees in julle geslagte.

He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.
Hy moet die lampe op die reine kandelaar voor die HERE altyd versorg.
5
And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
En jy moet fyn meel neem, en twaalf koeke daarvan bak: twee tiendes moet in een koek wees.
6
And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.
En jy moet hulle in twee rye sit, ses in ’n ry, op die reine tafel voor die HERE.
7
And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon [each] row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, [even] an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
En jy moet suiwer reukwerk op elke ry sit, dat dit op die brood mag wees tot ’n gedenkoffer, selfs ’n vuuroffer aan die HERE.

Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, [being taken] from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
Elke sabbatdag moet hy dit altyd voor die HERE sit, van die kinders van Israel geneem tot ’n ewige verbond.
9
And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it [is] most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.
En dit moet Aäron en sy seuns s’n wees; en hulle moet dit in die heilige plek eet: want dit is allersheilig vir hom van die vuuroffers van die HERE by ’n ewige insetting.

And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father [was] an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish [woman] and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
En die seun van ’n Israelitiese vrou, wie se vader ’n Egiptenaar was, het uitgegaan onder die kinders van Israel: en hierdie seun van die Israelitiese vrou en ’n man van Israel het in die kamp getwis:

And the Israelitish woman’s son blasphemed the name [of the LORD], and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother’s name [was] Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)
En die seun van die Israelitiese vrou het die Naam gelaster, en gevloek. En hulle het hom by Moses gebring: (en sy moeder se naam was Selómit, die dogter van Dibri, van die stam van Dan:)

And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.
En hulle het hom in bewaring gesit, dat die sin van die HERE aan hulle verklaar mag word.
13
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
En die HERE het tot Moses gespreek, en gesê,
14
Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard [him] lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
Bring hom wat gevloek het, buite die kamp uit; en laat almal wat dit gehoor het, hulle hande op sy hoof lê, en laat die hele vergadering hom stenig.
15
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
En jy moet tot die kinders van Israel spreek, en sê, Enigeen wat sy God vloek, moet sy sonde dra.
16
And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, [and] all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name [of the LORD], shall be put to death.
En hy wat die Naam van die HERE laster, moet sekerlik gedood word, en die hele vergadering moet hom sekerlik stenig: soos die vreemdeling, soos hy wat in die land gebore is, wanneer hy die Naam laster, moet hy gedood word.
17
And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
En hy wat enige mens doodslaan, moet sekerlik gedood word.
18
And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.
En hy wat ’n dier doodslaan, moet dit vergoed; dier vir dier.
19
And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
En as ’n man enige gebrek aan sy naaste toebring; soos hy gedoen het, so moet aan hom gedoen word:
20
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him [again].
Breuk vir breuk, oog vir oog, tand vir tand: soos hy enige gebrek aan ’n mens toebring, so moet dit weer aan hom toegebring word.
21
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
En hy wat ’n dier doodslaan, moet dit vergoed: en hy wat ’n mens doodslaan, moet gedood word.
22
Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I [am] the LORD your God.
Julle moet een reg hê, soos vir die vreemdeling, soos vir hom wat in die land gebore is: want ek is die HERE julle God.
23
And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
En Moses het tot die kinders van Israel gespreek, dat hulle hom wat gevloek het, buite die kamp moes uitbring, en hom stenig. En die kinders van Israel het gedoen soos die HERE Moses beveel het.
