[A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; [therefore] I shall not slide.
Oordeel my, o HERE; want ek het in my opregtheid gewandel: ek het ook op die HERE vertrou; daarom sal ek nie gly nie.
2
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
Ondersoek my, o HERE, en toets my; beproef my niere en my hart.
3
For thy lovingkindness [is] before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
Want u liefde is voor my oë: en ek het in u waarheid gewandel.
4
I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
Ek het nie by ydele persone gesit nie, en sal nie met die huigelaars gaan nie.
5
I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
Ek het die vergadering van kwaaddoeners gehaat; en sal nie by die goddelose sit nie.

I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
Ek sal my hande in onskuld was: so sal ek u altaar omsingel, o HERE:
7
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
Dat ek met die stem van danksegging mag publiseer, en al u wonderlike werke mag vertel.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
HERE, ek het die woning van u huis lief, en die plek waar u eer woon.

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
Versamel nie my siel met sondaars nie, en my lewe met bloeddorstige manne:
10
In whose hands [is] mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
In wie se hande is boosheid, en hulle regterhand is vol omkoop.
11
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
Maar wat my betref, ek sal in my opregtheid wandel: verlos my, en wees my genadig.
12
My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
My voet staan in ‚'n gelyke plek: in die vergaderinge sal ek die HERE prys.
