From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I.
Van die einde van die aarde af sal ek tot U roep, wanneer my hart oorweldig is: lei my tot die rots wat hoër is as ek.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, [and] a strong tower from the enemy.
Want U is my toevlug gewees, ‚'n sterk toring van die vyand.

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
Ek sal in u tabernakel vir ewig woon: ek sal my toevlug neem in die bedekking van u vlerke. Sela.

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.
Want U, o God, het my geloftes gehoor: U het my die erfenis gegee van dié wat u Naam vrees.

Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: [and] his years as many generations.
U sal die koning se lewe verleng: en sy jare soos baie geslagte.

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, [which] may preserve him.
Hy sal voor God vir ewig bly: o berei barmhartigheid en waarheid, wat hom mag bewaar.

So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
So sal ek tot u Naam sing vir ewig, dat ek my geloftes daagliks mag betaal.
